- Homeland Security Terminates Somalia’s Temporary Protected Status DesignationToday, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced the termination of Somalia’s designation for Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The termination will be effective on March 17, 2026.
